Pioneering Bengali Cinema in Aotearoa

Our flagship production, "Upohaar" (The Gift), marked a historic milestone as the first-ever Bengali short film fully produced in New Zealand. This project, along with the poignant "Ahona," showcased the immense talent of our local diaspora to a global audience. These films weren't just local success stories—they travelled the world, representing New Zealand at various prestigious international film festivals and earning multiple accolades and awards for their direction, storytelling, and cinematography.

Visual Artistry & Music Videos

Beyond the silver screen, Motif Entertainment has been a powerhouse in visual music production. From the soul-stirring melodies of "Bhromor" to contemporary music videos, we have consistently delivered high-production value content that captures the essence of Bengali musical heritage. Our studio serves as a creative hub where music meets cinematic vision, resulting in videos that have garnered thousands of views and connected with audiences across borders.
